The Xeltis Executive Team has been joined by seasoned medtech business leader David Mester as Vice-President, Business Lead, Valve. David has over 30 years of experience in structural heart devices and dedicated his career to advancing innovative materials and delivery systems for heart valve applications.
Prior to Xeltis, David held various senior business and technical leadership positions at W.L. Gore, CarboMedics, and ViVitro Labs, where he led the acquisition of new technology, First-in-Human and Early Feasibility Studies and numerous regulatory submissions for cardiovascular products.
A long-standing member of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) ISO 5840 and 5910 working groups, David studied business and applied science at St. Edwards University and holds an MBA from Louisiana State University Shreveport.
