Martijn Cox, Xeltis CTO and co-founder, will present the progress of Xeltis’ R&D at the Biomedica Summit. ‘Redefining heart valve replacement with bioabsorbable technology’ will illustrate clinical and pre-clinical outcomes of Xeltis’ innovative technology RestoreX and the revolutionary potential of Endogenous Tissue Restoration (ETR).

“Our RestoreX technology is the result of decades of achievements in biomedical engineering, which we are bringing forward to revolutionize heart valve therapy”, stated Martijn Cox. “Our innovative approach aims to enable the body to restore itself by leveraging natural processes, to ultimately relieve patients from major complications related to heart valve replacement.”

The Biomedica Life Sciences Summit aims to gain understanding on how healthcare and technology intersect: with focuses on regenerative medicine, bio-molecular diagnostics, medical imaging, robotics, and participatory health and well-being. Martijn’s presentation will take place at 14:00 on the 9th May in room Senaatszaal at Eindhoven University of Technology, NL.
