Xeltis, a privately held medical device company dedicated to transforming standards of care in heart valve replacement and vascular surgery, has announced that Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn, Ph.D., has joined its scientific advisory board. Lehn is co-winner of the 1987 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work in supramolecular chemistry, the science that Xeltis used as the basis for its self-healing implant technology.
