At Xeltis, we are marking World Heart Day thinking of all people born or leaving with heart disease. They give meaning to our working days and a greater purpose to our jobs.

We have met many of them, through our work with patient organisations and through our clinical trials. Many of them are children born with defective pulmonary heart valves or adults living with heart valve or cardiovascular disease.

As engineers, managers, cardiologists and technicians, today we remind ourselves of our pledge to strive daily to find solutions for you. We believe that technology, progress, focus and commitment can drive change in healthcare.

World Heart Day is a global campaign during which individuals, families, communities, and governments around the world participate in activities to take charge of their heart health and that of others. Through this campaign, the World Heart Federation unites people from all countries and backgrounds in the fight against the CVD burden and inspires and drives international action to encourage heart-healthy living across the world.
