Sport cars with professional drivers sped up excited children and families around the racing circuit of Zandvoort, NL on Heart Race Day organized by Stichting Heartbeat, a Dutch charity organizing activities for children with heart disease. The event was made possible by donations from Xeltis as main sponsor and by the local Scouts. ‘It was a real heart-racing experience’ commented Marieke Brugmans, research scientist at Xeltis, who sprinted around the circuit, ‘great fun at high speed for the little ones and for grown-ups as well’.
