Professor Jan Raaijmakers, the Dutch figurehead for the top sector ‘Life Sciences and Health’, visited Xeltis’ facilities during a tour of the Eindhoven University of Technology. Xeltis was one of three healthcare university spin-offs included in Professor Raaijmakers’ trip focusing on the Dutch medtech industry. The ‘Top Sectors’ are areas in which business community, universities, research centers and the government cooperate to improve knowledge and promote innovation. The figurehead for a top sector works to facilitate the collaboration among the parties involved.
